Paramedics week 6: Survived. TGIH (Thank god it's holidays!)

Another week survived and what a week it was.

I had to somewhat miserably do an online quiz last Friday night, write an essay over the weekend and study for a mid semester exam. I did quite well on the quiz, by the time I finished and proof-read my essay I had grown to hate it and whilst I did study for the mid-semester, my study techniques need some modification now that I'm not studying humanities anymore.

The mid-semester was at 2pm yesterday and after we'd finished that we had another 2 hours of lectures. My brain gave up after that. Today was a struggle, I ended up getting to uni 45minutes early because I misread the time. Ironically, I thought I was running 15 minutes late.

I have a tonne of study and catch up to do over the break. I also have my clinical placement down at Torquay. The prospect of going on placement is terrifying me a little.

As usual, at the end of the academic week I feel like I've had the life zapped out of me. However, I am looking forward to getting to play some golf, get more exercise and a bit more sleep!

In other news, Katie and her pal Thomas's relationship became "facebook official" on Monday! It's hard to believe that the gorgeous creature that is my little sister hasn't had an official boyfriend until now, however, we Brebner Griffin women are proudly picky types. This Tom must be a very special individual, hopefully I will meet him sometime soon!
